NHB Eligibility Criteria 2023

Eligibility criteria for these two posts under the NHB in terms of educational qualification and age limit are as follows.

Educational Qualification :

• Deputy Director: Must have passed Graduation in Horticulture, Agriculture, Post Harvest Technology, Agriculture Economics, Agriculture Engineering, Post Harvest Management, Food Technology, or Food Science. Additionally, candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Senior Horticulture Officer: Must have passed Graduation in Horticulture, Agriculture, Post Harvest Technology, Agriculture Economics, Agriculture Engineering, Food Technology, or Food Science.

Age Limit —

• Deputy Director: An individual’s age must not be below 18 and above 40 years as of January 05, 2024.
• Senior Horticulture Officer: One’s age must be between 18 and 30 years as of January 05, 2024.

Note: There will be upper age relaxation for reserved category candidates as per government rules.

NHB Application Fee 2023

The application fee for the recruitment of Deputy Director (Group A) and Senior Horticulture Officer (Group B) under the National Horticulture Board (NHB) is as follows:

• For UR/OBC/EWS candidates: Rs. 1000/-
• For SC/ST candidates: Rs. 500/-

However, PWD (Person with Disability) candidates are exempted from paying any application fee.
